Hagley Competitions 2024:

​

Our new competitions secretary, Graham Massey, will be organising a number of competitions  for us to enter this year as follows:

 

Sunday 24th March - Green Opens for the season.

 

Sunday 24th March 1.30 pm start - Round Robin Doubles Competition.

 

Saturday 6th April 1pm start - Club Open Day. Please Note: This will now take place during the Bowls Big Weekend. Details coming soon 

 

Wednesday 8th May 6.00 pm start – Round Robin Doubles Competition/ Social Event / bring and share supper

 

Sunday 7th July 1.30 pm start - Round Robin Doubles Competition.

​

Sunday 11th August 1.30 pm start - Charity Challenge Competition with Community Church.

​

Wednesday 4th September 6.30 pm start - The Hagley Trophy – Doubles Competition.

​

Sunday 15th September 1.30 pm start - The President’s Trophy – Singles Competition.

​

Wednesday 25th September 1.30 pm start - Round Robin Doubles Competition.

​

Saturday 28th September - Green closes for the season at the end of the day.

​

Wednesdayday 11th December 11 am start – Christmas Competition(weather permitting).

​

In addition, John Meddings will be organising the season long knockout competition for the Chase Inn Challenge Trophy. Further details to follow.

We also hope to arrange a challenge competion against the Chase pub to raise money for charity. Further details to follow
